Garden fountain waterfall

This is a waterfall fountain that came with the house we bought. It had fallen into neglect and I finally decided to clean it up and make it nice. After much work, scrubbing and water changes it was finally clear. The only problem is there are no outise outlets and I have to hook it up thought he kitchen window. So I can only run it when we're home and during the day so things don't get in our window. It's nice to have this working again. Notice towards the end that my Dutchman's Pipevine is starting to grow up the side of it. I hope to get big flowers out of it again this year.

Question by The Iceman Cometh: Any good cast stone garden fountain sites?
I'm trying to reconstruct an older outdoor fountain for a friend. I have photos of the existing parts but not sure what it's supposed to look like complete. I'm also not sure at this point where it came from, but I've already looked on the sites of some major manufacturers. Any suggestions?

  2. So jealous right now… lol.

  3. @KymsPink59Cadi Thank you. I’ve seen these at lowe’s and home depot. I’m glad this was already here in this house what luck! I hope some nice frogs will find it. I’d love to have a friendly bullfrog in my backyard.

  4. NICE FOUNTAIN! I wish I had something so nice with MOVING water no less. Great job fixing it up. I’m so envious. What a great fountain you have now.

  7. @HTCSWEOD Hi Fred. Thanks. I just finished watering outside and it was so nice to hear this fountain while I did my chores.

  8. I am a huge fan of water in the landscape! I’m so glad you decided to restore this fountain!!! annnd thanks for sharing as always….

  9. @CVersailles Thank you. Yeah it’s very relaxing to hear. Hopefully wild birds will come and drink out of it. I don’t know anything about rigging electricity. I’d have to hire someone and hopefully it’s not too expensive.

  10. Magnificient! It’s imposing… I love the sound of running water, and with a waterfall of that magnitude you are well served! We have our 2 fountains running all the time. (It isn’t that complicated to have an outlet installed on the outsde of your house: it would be worth it, now that you have this special “need” for it…)

  11. @jeffxl12 Thank you.

  12. beautiful waterfall
