How do I write the sound a pen makes when it falls and hits the floor?

Hi, there,

I'm in search of an onomatopoeia - a written sound - for:

(1) the actual sound a pen or a pencil might make when it falls and hits the floor. Would "thak" work? (think comic book sounds!)

and

(2) the sound a fountain pen might make as it slides across a sheet of paper...you know, the scratchy sound? How do I capture the actual scratchy sound in a written form?

Thank you so much!! Need help ASAP!
