is it dangerous for your cat to drink out of the little electric fountain you buy at the store for decorative?
I have a little decorative electrical water fountain and I'm trying to find out if there is any danger in him drinking the water from it? Should I coat it with anything or is it fine ? Or should I not let him drink from it?

No, it’s fine, unless you are putting something in the water like algaecide.
Let kitty enjoy her little fountain. She lets you live at her house.

Assuming you havein’t put any chemicals in it – it is fine. They sell little fountains like that just for cats!
But, the water in it is going to get gross after a few days…cat spit gets in it, and slime starts to grow. So if you are going to allow him to drink regularly from it – you better start cleaning it out and changing the water very few days.
Cats love to find unusual places to drink from. So if he likes your fountain, you may want to check out the fountains they have at the pet store specifically made for them. Some of them even come with filters.
