We first started buying this product at Lowes, but they haven’t carried it for the past year. I was delighted to find Amazon had them.
We have small fish ponds in our yard, and every year have to deal with the green, slimey pond algae that developes once it starts getting hot, and the sun bears down on the pond in the summer. I’ve tried all the liquids, drops, powders etc. to get rid of algae, but this product beats them all! One block about every month or two keeps the algae OUT completely! I do not have any problem with algae when I use these blocks. And, it does not hurt your fish. It’s really amazing how well it works!
I HIGHLY recommend these blocks for their performance and ease of use!

Pond Block is the only product that we have found to remove algae from our backyard ponds. It works excellent!!! Just drop a block into the pond and it lasts about 3 months. Does not effect fish or plants. The best part is that it does not discolor the water.

I always had problem with algae in my small water feature, until I discovered these blocks. They are easy to use and work better than any other algae control that I have used. They are also safe for fish.

I have a small pond in my back yard, and during the winter season it was covered with a screen, and when it came time to uncover the pond, I found that it was covered with slime and the rocks were in terrible shape with the moss that had accumulated over the winter, since the water runs year round. Two applications of the Pond Block, and the algae had disappeared, and when the pond was cleaned, it was renewed to it’s usual pristine color. I will use Pond Block exclusively from now on.
