This fountain is a piece of junk. I ordered three of them, and all three had cracks and holes in the top piece. The top piece is a molded resin that is very thin in places. The thin regions easily crack, making it unsightly, interfering with the performance, and within days rendering the fountain unusable. I was very disappointed and ended up buying an entirely different fountain.

I placed an order for this to have some white noise in my apartment and upon receipt the pump didn’t work (at all – no matter of light tapping, toggling of the switch, of full submerging into water awakened it..) So I contacted the company, explained the situation, and just merely that I would like a new pump to replace the defective one. What did I receive? An entire new Waterfall Tabletop Fountain package. Complete with pump! Now that’s customer service and I let them know how much I appreciated them going the extra mile.

The fountain looks exactly as pictured, my only problem with it is that it does not come with an on/off switch, so you have to plug it in, then unplug it each time to turn it on or off, which is really quite annoying. I wanted to place this on my desk, and the powerstrip I use is way underneath in the back so I’d have to crawl under the desk everytime I want to turn the power on or off, which is a major inconvenience. I had another fountain that came with the on/off switch and it was so easy to turn it on every day.
The marble at the top spins really fast, and it spins from right to left so it does make you dizzy if you stare at it. I’d prefer if it spinned from top to bottom.
Otherwise, the fountain itself looks good.

This is a nice, sturdy, simple fountain. The water trickles nicely and it takes just a few minutes to set up. The water does need to be filled to the maximum level or the pump can make a little noise, but the pump is completely quiet once enough distilled water is added- they do instruct you to use distilled water only. I feel that this item was worth the price paid and my husband, who received it from me as a gift, loves it.
