Although the title says this fountain is solar, it is electric only. Arrived quickly and in excellent condition, bigger than we expected. It works fine and the bird wading deck is a nice addition. The pump does need to be kept clean and the whole fountain benefits from a good cleaning now and then. Unfortunately, mosquitoes (our local Asian Tiger Demons) didn’t mind reproducing in it so we’re having to put it away. It is a nice little fountain.

This item is listed several places on the internet and there is not any obvious warning that it is NOT solar. The manufacturer even uses the deceptive title of Smart SOLAR. I asked them about this when I called to complain about not receiving a solar panel hookup and basically received the really DUMB answer that they also manufacture non-solar items. This company should be investigated along with any site showing their products. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE OF ANY PRODUCTS FROM SMART SOLAR. If I could have used a minus star rating I would have. They don’t deserve anything as high as a one star rating.

It is not a very big waterfall but seems very solid and it only comes in two pieces so it is easy to assemble and easy to clean. It makes a pleasing sound and birds love it.

The package, when received was in good condition,but when i opened
the package,I found the product (fountain) not in good order.
Bottom section was cracked about a foot in length,
and the top section, the water tube was not there.
Did a little improvising,repair and made it work.
I don’t recommend purchasing anything from this company.
Company should have inspected product before shipping.
P.S. very unhappy consumer.
