What kind of tree to plant in my backyard?
Question by shotsofnature: What kind of tree to plant in my backyard?
I just landscaped an area off the side of the back cement patio. It has a nice area off to the one side with new top soil, black mulch, some stepping stone pavers, and some red fountain grass. I have an area for a small, tall tree that doesn't get too big or wide. I don't want one that has lots of berries. Something that is low maintenance but looks nice.
Any ideas?
Thanks...

Arbor Vitae, they grow like a pyramid, they are evergreen need no maintenance and can be trimmed if you like at any time. They do not need to be trimmed but you might want to

We do not know where you live.
How about a flowering peach. No fruit and no berries. Very pretty ornamental tree.
