Which is better a solar water fountain or one that plugs in??
I am looking to buy a water fountain. I have seen both solar one and the kind that plug in.........which works better or is a better water fountain. Thanks.

They should both work the same. I would go with the solar, though. After all, if we all went solar we could save the Earth!

A solar water fountain would be fabulous! you would be harvesting the suns power, and paying nothing (besides the cost of the fountain of course) to have a beautiful yard ornament.

If you decide to get a solar fountain make sure it is one that stores the energy so that it still runs when cloudy.
I would recommend a fountain that uses an electric outlet. Fountains don’t use that much electricity to begin with and your options in style are greater with fountains with cords.
You can easily hide any electric cord in your landscaping or patio.
